ACE for Artists

ACE for Artists is a 22-week part-time business entrepreneurship program.  Created specifically for Indigenous Artists, it is designed to provide artists with the skills to start and grow their businesses.  Run through the University of Victoria’s Gustavson School of Business and Faculty of Fine Arts, the program will be based in Victoria.

The program started on June 5th and will run until mid-November, with the classes happening on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6pm-9pm and Sunday mornings from 9am-12noon.  Although the program has just started, we are still looking for a few more students to fill out our group. The program is open to all Indigenous artists, with no age limits or educational prerequisites, and there are no tuition fees.

The attached brochure has more info on the program, and to apply people can go to www.iamace.ca.  Any questions about the program can be directed to Rosy Hartman, Program Manager by email: rosydawnhartman@gmail.com or phone: 250-893-9449.
