for intake in our apprenticeship program later this summer. Though shifts patterns may change  we envisage 5-on 2-off shift rotations. Location will primarily be the 4EG Shop or Field  Locations, and/or at the facilities of some of our strategic partners for assigned periods.

Job Description: 

We are currently seeking Welding Apprentice/s (2nd year or later preferred) to join our team. This position offers hands-on training and mentorship in welding techniques, fabrication, and  equipment repairs. The successful candidate/s will work under the supervision of an experienced  welder to develop technical skills and industry knowledge.

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in welding and fabricating components for heavy equipment and infrastructure. Perform routine inspections and repairs on metal structures and machinery.
  • Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Work closely with senior welders to develop skills in different welding processes.  Complete required apprenticeship training and coursework.

Qualifications:

  • Enrollment in a Welding Apprenticeship program, preferably in the 2nd year or later. Basic knowledge of welding techniques, tools, and safety procedures.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced professionals. Valid driver’s license (preferred).
