General Manager
The Little Prairie Community Forest Inc (LPCFI) Board of Directors are currently seeking a General Manager for the Little Prairie Community Forest.
LPCFI is a partnership amongst West Moberly First Nations, Saulteau First Nations and the District of Chetwynd. Each partner is represented by 2 directors to compose a 6-person Board providing management direction. Through its Community Forest Agreement with the BC Ministry of Forests, LPCFI manages the K2N Community Forest License with an allowable annual cut of 8,000 cubic meters with potential expansion of up to 25,000 cubic meters.
The General Manager will oversee sustainable forestry operations, marketing, community engagement and local hiring strategies for the long-term cultural, social, economic and environmental benefits of the communities.
