Clean Air Access Points

Posted September 2, 2025 in

Air Quality in community has been poor and continues to be impacted by wildfire smoke from the Northwest Territories, Northern Alberta, & Southern BC.

Poor Air Quality can impact individuals through a range of health concerns including headaches, burning eyes / nose / throat, excessive tiredness, coughing / throat irritation, dizziness, or increase in asthma attacks or related symptoms. Poor Air Quality can also significantly impact those with pre-existing health conditions or respiratory illness.

In response - if you find yourself needing a break in some clean air, we invite you to come join us for a visit! We are open at the following locations on September 03 & 04 2025:

  • Elders Lounge (SFN Cultural Centre - 1706 Boucher Lake Road, Moberly Lake BC)
    • 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Health Centre Reception Area (1712 Civic Core Road, BC)
    • 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Trek Youth Centre (5121 43A Street, Chetwynd, BC)
