The G70322 Wildfire, known as the Windy Creek Wildfire, has grown to an estimated 200 Hectares since discovery yesterday evening (May 11 2026). This wildfire is located approximately 20 KM Northeast of the SFN Reserve.

At this time, the weather and wind patters indicate that the fire will continue to push to the North – this fire is currently listed as ‘Out of Control’, meaning it is spreading beyond its current perimeter / still growing.
There is no anticipated risk to community at this time – we are continuing to monitor the situation very closely and will update community if further action is needed.
